Space 310 Fabriksvej 2 A horse coach resaddles to furniture. It all began with a horse coach. in 1895 the young Niels Eilersen started as a coach builder. For his wheels he, as the first in Denmark, begins a production of steam-bent wood. And when the cars ran the horse coach off the road, Eilersen begins to make handmade bodies for cars and busses. In 1934 the factory burns completely down. However, this is going to be the start of a entirely different production. From that time Eilersen focuses on producing high quality upholstered furniture. Soon the sofas become a big succes, and since then steady progress has been made. Today the 4th generation has taken the factory and the trade mark Eilersen into the next millennium. The name itself is synonomous with quality and Eilersen has a fantastic worldwide reputation for its sofas. Several models have already been elevated to classics, while the rest simply are a daily enjoyment for many years. Eilersen furniture is a result of proud traditions and modern evolution. As such every piece of furniture is created by genuine craftsmanship and a trendy design. For many people 'an eilersen' is also a unique feeling of comfort... or as we say 'enjoy an eilersen'.
